OUR MISSION
Establishing Operations, Inc. is a behavioral consulting company dedicated to providing quality services to children and adolescents with autism and other developmental disorders. We believe in effective treatment utilizing the principles of applied behavior analysis. Our goal is to apply these principles in such a way as to increase spontaneous language, social interactions and ultimately reciprocal conversations between the children we serve and other children and adults.
OUR PHILOSOPHY
As our name indicates, we strive to focus on using motivation to bring about positive change. Children with autism should learn to communicate for the same reasons we communicate, to get attention and information from others. Our programs focus on keeping our clients motivated and behaving for positive reinforcement across environments through effective teaching procedures. Some examples of procedures that may be used are: pairing teachers and instructional settings with reinforcement, increasing opportunities for spontaneous language and fast paced, errorless teaching.
OUR SERVICES
At EO, Inc. we provide experienced consultants to develop home and school programs, train parents and staff to implement these programs as well as oversee and monitor the progress of the programs. We also offer a menu of workshops designed to train professionals and family members in how to teach children with autism and other developmental disabilities. These workshops focus specifically on the acquisition of verbal behavior in both the natural environment and intensive teaching settings from early to advanced learners. Our team has many years of experience working with all levels of children from non-vocal to conversational.
In addition, we will address any problem behaviors that children may exhibit which are interfering with their ability to learn NEW behaviors (such as language) that will ultimately help them contact more reinforcement in their environment. |
